Products of discard: the grape-pomace, after the distillation, is collected in a sefety area outside of the establishment, built in cement and adequately waterproofed, to avoid the dispersion of the substance. This is subsequently give up for energetic and pharmaceutical industrial reuse: production of fertilizer, bio-gas, combustible and, not containing any toxic substances, lotions for the care of the body.

The water: in Bertagnolli this resource is essential, since it's used both for the supply of the still and also to refrigerate the alcohol vapour to get the definitive (grappa) product. Despite this, measurements and controls are effected for establishing that the consumption doesn't exceed the allowed limits.

Energy: currently are going to be installed solar panels.

Glass: Bertagnolli Distillery uses bottles of recycled glass and there's in action a politic of awareness with the consumers, showing on each bottle that the glass has to be recycled.

Paper: Bertagnolli Distillery uses recycled paper in his offices.

Collection of items for recycling: this represent a rules in the offices even in the production department for paper, plastics and glass. Echo-compatible products are used for the daily cleaning of the establishment and the machineries.

The factory of recent construction has been built taking care to the environmental responsibility, with the use of materials and methodologies to minimum environmental impact.
